SC-2000/SC-1700 Pola

The NIDEK SC-1700 Pola/ SC-2000 is a stand-alone state of the art visual measurment system that incorporates a large, high resolution (SXGA) LCD for sharper chart recognition and various intelligent functions for an advanced examination.

Bright, High Contrast
The LCD offers a white background with uniform brightness and high clarity chart projection with superb contrast, providing the basis for an accurate examination.

Wide Range of Examination: 0.03 to 2.0*
The LCD allows detailed and fine display of small charts up to 2.0. Large chart display such as 0.03 and 0.04 is also possible, eliminating the need for acuity calculations by changing the working distance.

Smart Display Functions
The SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 provides single letter and horizontal/vertical line masks, and is always displayed in the centre of the screen. The SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 also incorporates a random chart display facility* to overcome inaccurate measurements caused by the ability of the patient to memorise charts.

Contrast Test
To support patients who have undergone cataract or refractive surgery, the SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 has the ability to measure contrast sensitivity at three levels below the normal threshold.

Polarised Charts for Binocular Test*
The SC-1700 Pola adopts the state-of-the-art technology, special LCD to polarise charts, which provides binocular assessment in a conventional way with stylish design.

Selectable Working Distance: 2.5 to 6 m *
(In Mirror mode: 5 to 6 m)
The working distance is selectable to suit the layout of the clinic. The SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 chart size is automatically calibrated according to the chosen working distance.
Three working distances (5, 5.5, 6 m) are available in mirror mode

Maintenance Free
Bulb exchange is a thing of the past with the LCD chart. The SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 promises a maintenance free life for the user.

System Integration
The SC-1700 Pola/SC-2000 can be synchronised with the smart refractor for more advanced and smoother examinations. When synchronised, chart changeover is possible using the smart refractor control box.
